Our Office Essentials ballpoint pens are available in packs of ten. Not only do they provide excellent value for money, but since switching their packaging from a PET plastic blister with carton backing to a fully recyclable carton box with a window, we have reduced packaging weight and improved recyclability.

By reducing the weight of each pack of pens by just over a third – from 25 to 16 grams – we have been able to lighten transport loads. Over a full year the lighter packaging results in nearly 20 tonnes less to transport. This is another step towards reducing waste and Action’s greenhouse gas emissions.
