Opening of the first store in Spain

Following Girona, Sabadell, and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Action's fourth store in Spain opened in Figueres on 14 April. People here appear to be real Action fans, as all four stores are performing well. For Raquel Lugones Romano, Store Manager of our store in Figueres it was and still is an adventure:

"I knew that Action would be well received here in Spain. The store is an enormous success. It is fantastic to see how happy and amazed our customers in Spain are! They say really positive things.” 

At first, many colleagues were unfamiliar with our products. As Raquel said: “My colleagues saw many products that they wanted to buy for themselves when they were setting everything up. The store looks great and is spacious, you can see the variety of products we have from the outside. But once people actually enter the store, they can see just how many cool products we have and how low our prices are.” 

It has been a year since Action became operational in Spain, and a lot has happened! “We are a close team now and highly driven. The popularity of Action has increased tremendously. We have loyal customers who visit every week to see what's new in our store. And word of mouth from satisfied customers attracts new customers every day!”, Raquel says.  

“The surprise factor, low prices, a good, fun atmosphere and of course the range of possibilities for employees make what I love about working at Action. I'm very proud of being on this adventure and can only say: Thanks for letting me be part of one of Action’s pilot stores in Spain. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey.”
