Curver Bullet bin

Category

Household goods

Outcomes

  • 100% recycled material

  • Less plastic waste

Case Study

In 2025, a new Curver refuse bin went on sale in our stores. The bin is made from plastic collected at our DCs. The plastic is sorted, ground down and processed into granules, which are then turned into the material that makes the new bin.

In 2025, Action also started a trial with Rymoplast and GP Groot to sell closed-loop refuse bags in Belgium, made entirely by recycling the foil used to wrap roll-containers. Separately, we are conducting a trial with WEPA to produce toilet paper from our recycled cardboard.
